Wildwood - Wildflowers - Pale Rose Lawn by Rifle Paper

Cotton Lawn is a lightweight semi-transparent fabric, with beautiful drape. It tends to wobble when it gets cut with scissors, so feel free to use a piece of newsprint or muslin cotton to help stabilize it when cutting.

This fabric is an excellent intermediate fabric for making flowing dresses, tops and skirts. It's also lovely for bedding, quilt backs, pyjamas or as an easier to work with substitute for silk. Work with a microtex needle and silk pins for best results.

This fabric will shrink 2-3% when washed so it is recommended to pre-wash in hot water if you intend to use it for making garments.

This is fabric is OEKO-TEX certified. Cotton is also biodegradable, a process which returns carbon to the soil and enriches it, and it does not produce micro-plastics during its lifecycle.
