The Yaletown is a wrap-style dress or blouse featuring a flattering crossover neckline and comfortable, short flutter sleeves. A one piece skirt section for the dress ensures that this is a wrap dress that won't slip open.

A comfortable elastic waistband is covered by a tie belt or pair with your own belts to change up the look. For added security, an optional button & loop at the front neckline keeps the front from revealing too much. The Yaletown Dress version also has hidden inseam pockets.

View A is a knee length dress with inseam pockets, and View B is a hip-length blouse.

  • Tools, Notions or Trim requirements:

    Sew-All Polyester Thread

    One yard of ¼" wide elastic

    One yard of fusible interfacing.

    Optional: one ⅜" button.

    Fabric requirements:

    Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile or lawn, rayon challis, silk charmeuse or crepe. Choose a fabric with drape for best results. Allow extra fabric to match plaids, stripes or one-way designs.
